CLUB EXPECTATIONS

At 7 United Soccer Club, we believe families deserve clarity, consistency, and a positive experience. We appreciate families in our active locations have a wide variety of club options and choosing the right fit for your child and family is an important decision. As a member of our club, you can expect the following commitments from us:


  • PLAYER-CENTERED DEVELOPMENT - all training sessions are designed to be age appropriate, challenging, consistent with our club curriculum through fun activities to establish an organic passion for the sport. Players will be encouraged to take risks and be creative in both training & competitive game situations to enhance their technical proficiency and problem solving abilities.


  • QUALIFIED & SUPPORTIVE COACHING - every 7 United coach holds themselves to the highest standard to ensure every player has the best experience possible. Our Club Leadership conducts ongoing coach education to ensure true alignment with the club's coaching philosophy. All coaches are committed to positive, respectful communication with clear instructions and constructive feedback for all players.


  • POSITIVE & RESPECTFUL CLUB CULTURE - 7 United promotes a welcoming environment for players and families of all backgrounds. The club has a zero tolerance for abusive behavior or poor conduct. Our expectations for all players and parents is to display sportsmanship and respect to all teammates, coaches, opponents & officials.


  • TRANSPARENT COMMUNICATION - the club prides itself in proactive planning and organization to be able to provide timely updates on all club schedules & events. All Club Leadership & coaches are committed to respond efficiently to addressing questions or concerns. Our players benefit from our progressive Individual Development Plans (IDP) to ensure players are conscious of their development goals and areas of improvement.


  • ROSTER MANAGEMENT - all roster decisions are reviewed by our Club Leadership as every player and every team is important and deserve equal attention and positive treatment. All coaches expect all players to give full effort, a positive attitude and attendance as all dictate designated playing time. Club Leadership & club coaches reserve the right to approve any/all guest playing opportunities within other teams in the club.

PLAYER EXPECTATIONS

As a player and member of 7 United Soccer Club, I understand that I am expected to follow the club’s rules, values, and Code of Conduct. I agree to represent 7 United Soccer Club with respect, effort, and sportsmanship at all times.


I acknowledge and agree to the following:


  • I will encourage good sportsmanship from fellow players, coaches, officials, and parents at all times.


  • I will remember that soccer is an opportunity to learn, improve, and have fun.


  • I will respect all players, coaches, officials, administrators, and fans regardless of race, gender, creed, or ability—and I expect the same in return.


  • I will always give my best effort in training and games.


  • I agree to provide positive communication to all teammates & coaching staff. 


  • I will play by the rules of the game at all times.


  • I will respect the decisions of referees and game officials.


  • I will always exercise self-control and act responsibly.


  • I understand that my behavior reflects on my team and club.


  • When traveling or participating in club events, I will conduct myself appropriately as a representative of 7 United Soccer Club.


  • I understand that failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action as determined by 7 United Soccer Club.















PARENT EXPECTATIONS

As a parent, guardian, or spectator of a 7 United Soccer Club player, I understand that my conduct reflects on my child and the club. I agree to hold myself—and any family members or guests attending games or events—to the same high standards upheld by 7 United Soccer Club.


I acknowledge and agree to the following:


  • I will always remain positive and respectful.


  • I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, referees, and administrators at all times.


  • I will place the emotional and physical well being of all players ahead of any personal desire to win.


  • I will support the coaches, officials, and administrators working with my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.


  • I will ask my child to treat other players, coaches, game officials, administrators, and fans with respect.


  • I will always allow the coach to be the only coach and will refrain from sideline coaching. 


  • I will refrain from interactions with the opposing team’s parents, players, coaches or match day officials. 


  • I will adhere to the club's 24 hour policy before approaching/contacting my club coach.


  • I agree to reside on the parents sideline, not behind either goal and/or coaches sidelines.

 

  • I agree to not partake in any acts of violent behavior and understand any breach of this request could result in my child being removed from participation in the club.


  • I agree to pay the annual tuition as outlined by 7 United Soccer Club. Failure to remit dues in a timely manner may result in suspension from all soccer activities until payment is received.
