At 7 United SC, we believe recreation soccer should be more than just showing up for a game on Saturday. Our MLS GO Recreation League is more than a place for children to simply play games. It is a complete developmental environment for
everyone involved in the game.
Through the leadership of our Club Directors, this program serves as an important part of our club-wide mentoring and education pathway. Current and former college players are given the
opportunity to begin learning the craft of coaching under the guidance of our Director-created curriculum, gaining valuable experience in both training sessions and match environments.
Young referees are also provided a positive and supportive atmosphere to build confidence, improve communication, and develop their officiating abilities in real game situations.
Most importantly, our players benefit from learning from coaches and mentors who have played the game at a high level and understand how to properly teach, encourage, and develop young athletes, creating an experience that goes far
beyond the traditional volunteer-led recreation model.

Weekly Training Sessions
Players receive structured weekly training sessions focused on:

Weekly Games
Players will be instructed by the same coaches in their weekly games. Consistency in training topics and game objectives is key to establish growth,
understanding and implementation.

This creates a much better developmental experience than large-sided traditional recreation soccer.
Team Format & Length of Games
U6 - 3v3 (4x 8 minute quarters)
U7 - 4v4 (4x 10 minute quarters)
U8 - 4v4 (4x 10 minute quarters)
U9 - 5v5 (4x 12 minute quarters)
U10 - 5v5 (4x 12 minute quarters)
U11/U12 - 7v7 (2x 30 minute halves)
Maximum touches = Maximum development

Training Schedule
All weekly training sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings.
Game Schedule
All league games will be played on Saturday mornings.
Having one centralized location for both training and games creates a more convenient and organized experience for families while also helping players feel connected to the 7 United community. Players train and compete in the same positive environment each week, allowing coaches, mentors, referees, and families to build a strong developmental culture centered around growth, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.
Official MLS GO Uniforms Included
Every player in the 7 United MLS GO Recreation League receives an official MLS GO replica uniform kit inspired by professional soccer clubs across Major League Soccer. While the uniform itself is
exciting for young players, it represents much more than just game-day apparel. It helps create a true club experience that builds pride, confidence, identity, and connection to the game.
The MLS GO partnership also allows our players to experience the game in a way that mirrors the professional environment they watch on television and in stadiums. From the look and feel of the uniforms to the structure of training and matchdays, players are immersed in an authentic soccer culture designed to inspire a lifelong love for the game.
The uniform includes a reversible jersey, shorts and socks. Players are responsible to provide and wear soccer specific cleats and shin guards for every practice and game.

Fall 2026 Registration
Player registration opens May 27th through July 13th for boys & girls U6-U12.
Season Dates
Training: Wednesday, August 26th through November 4th
Games: Saturday, September 12th through November 7th
Fees
The cost is $150 per player, per season that must be paid in full at the time of registration.
